Celebrating Chinese New Year!

Chinese New Year and the Year of the Ox has been celebrated across all of our Nurseries this week!

Children have tucked in to some scrumptious Chinese food, some experiencing it for the first time. Noodles were a firm favourite - as well as the prawn crackers!

They have been looking at how Chinese people write and looking at the symbols that represent numbers. They even had a go at copying them too!

Children have been looking at the Great Wall of China too and then had a go at building their own. The wall they constructed was brilliant and went round the whole of the Pre school room. Lots of amazing teamwork, problem solving and conversation!
